MindMapper v5.0 Professional is the next major product upgrade from the previous and very successful v4.5 Professional. Version 5.0 features and functionality's extend far beyond that of of v4.5 for ever increased efficiency, ease of use, intuitiveness and proficiency.

MindMapper v5.0 Professional is now available as a free download for current, registered users of Mindmapper v4.5 Professional or if a first time user, a 30 day free trial will automatically take effect.

What's new within Mindmapper Professional v5.0?

• Overall new look and feel plus enhancements - with new icons that look more sophisticated and a welcome intuitive interface.
• Multiple Main Topics - improved presentation of various thoughts within multiple maps and in one mind map file.
• Outline - To visualize a topic, a shape can now be added to a topic as an outlining tool for better recognition without using a lot of space.
• Excel exporting - A map created can now be converted into an MS excel file with the Excel Export function.
• Topics text alignment - Using MM Pro v5.0, Users can now choose Left, Center and Right alignment for text of topic for better look and feel overall.
• Level selection - Batch selection of any or all branches in the same level is now fully supported.
• Schedule icons reflect task achievement rate - Overall achievement rates can be captured with a look and feel of schedule icons.
• Image Map Converter is now embedded - The Image Map tool was provided as a stand alone application before for MM Pro 3.x~ MM Pro v4.5. For MM5.0, it is now embedded for easier converting of mind map files to web page and sharing for non-registered users.
• Opening currently working mind map file folder as a pop up - This new option saves you time locating the currently working mind map file folder.
• Broken hyperlink auto correction - When hyperlinked files are removed or moved to an other location, this feature saves users substantial time from otherwise searching for broken hyperlinks by automatically repairing.
• Image add on as a map background - add a background from your own image file resource archives.
• Roll up / Roll down - From MM Pro v5.0 the rolling position for each branch is also recalled so that it works like a tree; remember Windows OS v3.x File Manager?
• Drag and drop functionality enhancements - You can now drag and drop an image from Windows Explorer into a mind map as a background or as a hyperlink.
• Hyperlink dialog box - You can now move directly to a hyperlinked file folder from hyperlink dialog box.
• New dialog box - When ever a new mind map needs to be created, you now can choose one of our ready-made map styles by clicking on File option from New Menu.
• Moving to a text topic with a click of an arrow key - Within MM Pro v5.0, moving to the next topic within a Process Tree is now possible by clicking on one of 2 horizontal arrow keys to the next necessary direction of travel.
• Color application improvements - MM Pro v5.0 now provides many more color selections, plus user custom selection.
• Copying topic style - A typical topic style can now be copied from an existing topic and be applied to another topic.
• Relational link - The topics to a link now takes the intersection of the center of a topic and boundary boxes.
• Fishbone - You can now draw a fishbone style map (Ishikawa diagram) as seen on other sights in the past.
• Overall file size reduced- file size of MM Pro v5.0 files has been reduced so to help existing users increase efficency

How do I update to MindMapper v5.0? First start by verifying what version you are currently registered to. Within your currently installed MindMapper program, go to Help menu and choose About MindMapper. This will reveal what version of Mind Mapper you actually have installed guide you to the next logical step.

Upgrading to MindMapper Pro v5.0 from v4.5 is easy. Choose from one of two ways:

Within your MindMapper Pro v4.5 Program, select "Check for Updates" under the "Help" menu. This action will allow you to uninstall MM Pro v4.5, install MM Pro v5.0 and register v5.0 as a new version on to your computer. You will not need to reenter any of your registration key-set information during this process. If MindMapper Pro v4.x is already installed.
