FREE MindMapper Grafic Image Map Converter

You can use Image Map Converter to save a MindMapper mind map fileas a graphic image with all hyperlinks alive all written in HTML. This means that you can open this image map using Internet Explorer, and be able to open all hyperliked files from your browser. Please note that this utility is designed to only work with MindMapper mind map type files with twd extension. Image Map Converter will not run or install properly if MindMapper Pro v4.x, v5.x, or v3.5 is not registered on your PC before installaing Image Map Converter.

1. How do I install this utility? Simply download and save ImageMap.exe in the same folder where MindMapper is installed. Note though; MindMapper must be registered before installing the ImageMap.exe file, if not Image Map Converter will not run or install properly.

2. How do I convert a map to an image map? Execute ImageMap.exe. This will bring up a dialog as shown below. Select the upper "Browse" button and select a MindMapper mind map file to convert. Enter a target file name to create HTML file. Select button labeled "Convert" to start and create conversion.

3. Can I run this utility from within MindMapper?

Yes you can add this utility to MindMapper as a plugin and execute from within the MindMapper program menu.

1. Execute MindMapper
   
2. Select "Tools" menu then select "Customize" option.
3. Select "Tools" tab and press "Add" button.
4. Enter the following requested fields
   • Menu text = Name of the utility
   • Command = Program file to execute.(Imagemap.exe)
   • Arguments =Default map to open. Leave it blank.
   • Initial directory = Default folder to save converted image maps, then select button labeled "OK"

4. Now you can run this utility from within MindMapper as follows;
Make sure you have an existing map open. Select "Tools" menu, then select Image Map option from pull-down menu.
